Quick Update

Take a look over to the right there. There’s a whole crop of new specs I’m looking for. I know some of you have’em, so fire up that e-mail and send’em my way.

Some of you have been nice enough to occasionally write me with suggestions. Keep them coming. Even though I can only review one script a day, I try to get to anything that’s highly recommended.

For no good reason, here is the “Downloading Box Office” on my last 10 reviews…

I’m quite surprised that a period film got the most downloads. I’m curious as to why this script was downloaded more than the others. Was it the 5 million dollar price tag that intrigued you? Or was it the subject matter?

    For me it was the price tag. Haven’t been able to read past page 5. I just read The Wolf Of Wall Street by Terrence Winter. Great read.

    Should be a very good movie if Leo and Scorsese decide to do it.

    I read W of WS book so it’s hard to get up for reading the script. Do they make Leo’s character as despicable as the guy in the book?

    Carson believe it or not period pieces are a great genre, especially those Western based. Unbound Captives had the Dances with Wolves vibe going for it. And I actually read the script twice. It was a solid piece of Cinema once you get past the slow start. I think Unbound Captives good be a very good movie with slight changes.

    All of the Robert Pattinson fans are going crazy trying to find info, I think that’s why so many people downloaded Unbound Captives.

    @ Carson – He was just a crazy motherfucker. Reminded me of a young Henry Hill.

    He was addicted to pussy, money, and drugs, and was completely unapologetic about it. And I loved him for it. It’s the best script I’ve read in a while.

    I downloaded “Captivies” because Fox wanted to pay 5 millions, but I readn’t it further than page 20.

    Review “MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS”, it’s definitely worth a read.

    I download everything that you list as worth the read and above … and the other stuff it depends on whether nor not the idea behind it interests me … and I actually like westerns, I wish they’d make more good ones …

    I couldn’t get them off Mediafire since I have a pos computer and your new hosting site is easy, so I’ve added to your most recent ones, but liked Unbound Captives for the visual writing, loved Passengers for the first person voice, agreed with your review. I wanted to see if I agreed with you on You Again, and I did. It fell apart after the cute meet.

    I’m addicted to your site but can’t even get my name in to comment which either makes me retarded or my computer has issues. Keep them coming, I’m out here reading every day, and now downloading everything to see if I have an argument. So far none, but I was close on Unbound Captives. Liked that for some reason and hell yeah Robert Pattinson in a loin cloth will drive that box office. :)

    Read “At the Mountains of Madness”.

    It’s really a crazy script. A great adaptation from one of H.P. Lovecraft’s most deliriuos creation. From the mythical cycle of “Cthulhu”.
