And I’ve got good news.
I’ve finally decided when the deadline will be and how the best script will be determined.
The deadline for the Blood & Ink Contest is Easter, April 5th. So, if you are one of the participants, here’s what I need from you!
I need: Your Blood & Ink screenplay
When: April 5th
E-mail me at: carsonreeves3@gmail.com
Include: Title, Genre, Logline, and a PDF of the screenplay
Subject Line Should Read: Blood & Ink Final Entry
Once all the screenplays are in, I will read the first act of all of them. If your first act is bad, I will not continue. If it’s neutral, I will. But I’m not reading on if the first act sucks.
Then, starting Monday, May 4th, and going through Friday, May 15th, I will review the 10 best screenplays on the site. Each day of the week (Monday – Friday) I’ll do a full script review. The script will be posted so you guys can read them too. And then I’m going to decide, after reviewing all 10 of the best scripts, which one is the winner.
I don’t want to put pressure on you but I can’t see how at least five of these scripts aren’t better than anything on the Black List. So, let’s bring it, guys. You’ve got almost 3 months of writing left to put it all the page. Give me your best shot. Cause I want to find something great. The potential for both of us if that happens is enormous.
